Leadership Santa Rosa, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was launched to develop participants for leadership roles in the local community. The program is directed by the Leadership Santa Rosa Board of Directors and aided by alumni volunteers.

Founded in 1984, Leadership Santa Rosa cultivates emerging leaders through community engagement, skill-building, and networking opportunities across various sectors, preparing them for impactful roles while addressing the county's challenges and opportunities. The program features sessions exploring various aspects of the county, including its history, economy, and community issues.
